Shareifyoulike.com operates an Internet based Platform for the distribution of content such as videos, apps and widgets through various publication channels on the internet.

Our clients may upload content to our platform which can be shared and posted by our Publishers on their own websites, blogs, social network pages etc (so called "Channels") should they find it appealing and interesting.

We attach great importance to data protection and security and observe the provisions of Federal Data Protection and Telemedia Regulations. Accordingly, the scope and use made of any data that is collected during the course of our operations is set out in detail below.

1. Collection and retention of personal data

We collect and process personal data during your registration to the platform. To a certain extent we retain additional data generated by interaction with our website.

a) User Data

aa) Content Provider (Clients)

As part of the registration process, content providers supply the following data (hereinafter referred to as "User Data") as per paragraph 2 of General Usage and Terms and Conditions for Clients:

• Name of Company or Organisation ("Client")
• Title
• Forename and surname of the individual completing the registration process
• Postal address of the content provider
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Chosen User name
• Password for subsequent access to the Platform

bb) Publishers

As part of the registration process, Publishers supply the following data as per paragraph 3 General Business Terms and Conditions of Use for Publishers (hereinafter referred to as "User Data"):

• Email address
• Password for subsequent access to the Platform

If the Publisher logs in to Shareifyoulike via a social network, we receive and store the login data of the respective social network which is comprised of the following:

• a contact email address or a user name
• a password for subsequent access to the Platform

The Publisher may choose an individual password at a later date to log-in directly on Shareifyoulike's platform.

Additional specific information about Publishers such as forename and surname, general information and details concerning their websites, blogs or social network profiles may be collected.

If a registered Publisher participates in sharing content, the Publisher's address will be collected and stored for payment purposes. Additionally, bank details will be required if the Publisher wishes to receive payment via bank transaction. Where applicable, Value Added Tax registration details are also collected.

b) Usage Data, Cookies and Usage Profiles

The non-registration, public section of the Platform may be accessed and viewed without the need to supply personal data. However certain usage data will be recorded, namely:

aa) Log files

If the Shareifyoulike.com website is visited, the web server will store certain information in a log file. A log file records the beginning and end of a visit to the website, the amount of data transmitted and subpages visited. We would like to point out that our log files do not record IP addresses and are therefore completely anonymous.

bb) Cookies

Cookies are used as part of our website. Cookies are small files stored on a visitor's hard drive and used to send us specific information.

Our cookies verify log-in data from Clients and Publishers for user authentication.

We also use cookies to collect and store the user's browser type and version, the URLClickstream (the order in which pages are visited on our website), the date and time of visits to our portal and the cookie number. Neither personal information nor the IP addresses of our users are collected and stored. These cookies are used solely for statistical purposes – for example to identify the most frequently visited parts of our website. This information is used by us to modify the site for the comfort of our users. We can also optimise our web design by collecting statistical data about preferred browser types and operating systems.

If visitors wish to restrict the use of Cookies it is possible to activate a cookie blocker in the visitor’s web browser.

cc) Usage Profiles

The Shareifyoulike.com website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service of Google Inc. headquartered at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. ("Google") Google Analytics utilises Cookies, stored as text files on your computer that help analyse of use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about usage of this website (visit times and referral sources, details about system configuration and your IP provider including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for us and provide other services relating to website usage and Internet usage. Also, Google may transfer the information to third parties, as the law permits or to third parties who process information on behalf of Google. Google will not use your IP address in association with any other data.

By using this site, you agree to the processing of your usage data by Google in the manner described above and for the above stated purposes. You can however also block the adoption of new cookies by way of your browser settings (see above).

dd) Identification

The results issued by the aforementioned collection of data are statistical and anonymous. This means that no information on personal usage preferences is disclosed – only information on anonymous usage patterns. Google Analytics provides only statistical information. Visits to our website remain entirely anonymous as we have neither methods nor inclinations to identify anyone visiting our website.

The aforementioned collection, storage and usage of data referred to in paragraph 1 can be disallowed by the user at any time.

c) Content Data

Finally, the use of our platform by Clients and Publishers generates so-called content data. This refers to specific information relating to campaign content provided by a Client for distribution and a Publisher's participation in the campaign. This data is collected and used to compute remuneration due from such participation.

2. Data Usage

a) User Data

aa) General use of User Data

User data relating to Clients and Publishers will be collected and stored by Shareifyoulike.com in order to perform existing contractual relations and manage user accounts and to contact Clients and Publishers when necessary. Additional data from Publishers (surname, forename, billing address and bank details) is used to administer credit entries and payment of funds.

bb) Use of Email Addresses

Email addresses are used to contact Clients (content providers) and Publishers in matters relating to user accounts and relevant campaign information and campaign progression.

They are also used to deliver newsletters and specific content offers, when requested. Newsletters may be cancelled at any time by sending an email or by selecting the appropriate link at the end of the newsletter.

cc) Transmission of User Data to Third Parties

As a rule, data is never transmitted to third parties. However, the following exceptions can apply:

• if transmission is necessary for the implementation of the existing contractual relationships or to enforce contractual terms
• if obliged legally or ordered by a court
• if required to provide information to regulatory bodies, law enforcement and other regulatory authorities as necessary in order to prevent threats to public safety and order and for the prosecution of criminal offences

b) Usage Data

Usage data enables us to accumulate knowledge about our website and how it is used. Thus, we can establish which pages are most popular, when service demand is particularly intense and what the preferred navigation within the website is, etc. The resulting data is used to optimise technical and editorial performance.

Detailed statistical data with regards to the course, development and success of content is provided to the respective Clients. This statistical data contains no personal information.

bb) Transmission of personal data

Under no circumstances is personal data transmitted to third parties.

c) Content Data

Content data is used similarly to User Data in order to fulfill contractual relationships with Clients (content providers) and Publishers. This data is never transmitted to third parties.

3. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to other websites that are unconnected with Shareifyoulike.com. After clicking through the link Shareifyoulike.com disclaims any connection with the third party website or the subsequent transmission of personal data (for example the IP address or URL information), as we have no control over third parties actions. Shareifyoulike.com accepts no responsibility for the processing of such personal data by third parties.

4. Disclosure, correction, deletion, blocking

Shareifyoulike.com will respond at any time to written requests for information concerning individual personal data that is stored. Please address such requests to info@shareifyoulike.com or write to us.

Data that is required to fulfill contractual or legal requirements is the only data exempted from requests for deletion; in such a case this data will remain blocked for access.

5. Security

Shareifyoulike.com employs technical and administrative security systems to ensure that user specific personal data is protected from loss, unlawful amendment or unauthorised access by third parties. Moreover, only authorised persons have access to personal data, and only in so far as it is necessary in the context of the above mentioned purposes. Data that is transmitted and collected during registration and that is later made available to Clients or Publishers will be encrypted.
